Due to a large increase in the level of business in our Houston office, CDL Inchas expanded its space in Shadow Wood Drive to 4,000 sq ft. The extra floor area has been used to provide a high quality meeting and training area as well as additional workshop space, secure store area, larger reception and additional offices for use by the Houston staff.
Two open days were held at the new facility on the 29th and 30th of July 2010. A short opening ceremony was performed followed by 2 days of office tours, equipment demos and meetings with clients to familiarise them with the improved meeting and technical facilities. A traditional Texas BBQ was also served.
The new office will provide several improvements for our customers in Houston and the GoM area. The extra space allows for increased holding of equipment and spares as well as improved calibration facilities for our ever increasing range of inertial products. The new training room is equipped with a high quality video conferencing system linked to an ultra-high brightness large screen projection system which will allow meetings and client training to be done in a modern comfortable environment. A feature glass wall along the training room allows a large amount of natural light into the area to make long training sessions and meetings more comfortable.
